PIKSPOT! allows sign-in through third-party providers such as Google, Facebook and LINE. To delete your PIKSPOT! account and request deletion or anonymization of associated data, use the self-service deletion process below.
When you delete your PIKSPOT! account, we will, where reasonably feasible, delete or anonymize personal data associated with it, including:
PIKSPOT! does not receive or store your password for Google, Facebook, LINE or any other third-party sign-in provider.
Some content may have been shared publicly or involved other users, such as mushroom challenge posts or spot reports. If immediately deleting an entire record would affect shared content, other users' records or system integrity, PIKSPOT! may anonymize it instead.
When anonymizing an account, we remove direct account identifiers, display names, profile images, uploaded images, friend codes and other personal information where applicable. Public interfaces display “Deleted user” instead of blank values or internal technical values.
Some information may be retained for a reasonable period where necessary for security, fraud prevention, abuse investigations, legal compliance, backup recovery or dispute resolution.
PIKSPOT! may retain minimal internal deletion records, including the internal account ID, deletion status, timestamps and the technical stage or error code if deletion fails. These records do not intentionally retain your display name, email address, social sign-in provider, IP address or browser user agent.
Where data cannot reasonably be removed from backups immediately, it will be isolated from normal use and removed according to our backup retention procedures.
After signing in, you can use this page's self-service deletion process. Completed account deletion cannot be undone. You must enter the uppercase English word DELETE in the confirmation dialog before the final delete button becomes available. If you cannot sign in or want to request deletion of specific data, contact privacy@pikspot.app.
To help verify your request, please include as much of the following as possible:
After receiving a request, we will verify identity, assess the request and delete or anonymize eligible personal data and User Content where reasonably feasible.
If your account used GA4 with consent and PIKSPOT!'s GA4 deletion service is configured, the system will also submit a user data deletion request to Google using the irreversibly hashed analytics User-ID. Temporary Google API failures are retained for retry, but do not block deletion of your PIKSPOT! account and on-site data.
If you use Google, Facebook, LINE or another third-party service to sign in, PIKSPOT! can only handle data stored or controlled by this Service. Your third-party account itself, sign-in records stored by that service and other third-party platform data must be handled through that service's settings or procedures.
